Kayak for the Cause
HOW IT WORKS
👥 Group Size: We accommodate up to 40 paddlers per trip in single kayaks, tandem kayaks, and canoes.
📍 Trip Duration: Our 10-mile journey takes approximately 5 hours, including a halfway break.
📝 Sponsorship: Each paddler will receive a sponsor sheet to collect donations per mile paddled.
💲 Suggested Donation: We recommend $2.00 per mile, but any contribution helps support your cause!
🙌 Fundraising Potential: With 20 sponsors per participant, each paddler can raise $400.00 in donations.
💰 Participation Fee: $40.00 per participant (a savings of $15 off the regular trip price!)
⭐ Net Fundraising Impact: Each participant raises $360.00 (or more!)
🌊 Total Potential Earnings: A full group of 40 participants can generate up to $14,400.00 in donations!

Susquehanna Kayak and Canoe Rentals provides everything you need for a successful fundraising event, including kayaks, paddles, life vests, river maps, orientation, experienced guides, and shuttle services for your group.
🚨 Safety First: Before launching, all participants will receive a comprehensive safety briefing covering paddling techniques, steering, and essential on-water safety procedures.
📝 Waiver Requirement: Each participant must complete a waiver form provided by Susquehanna Kayak and Canoe Rentals prior to the event.
📢 Event Support: We offer flyers, paddling information, and even in-person visits to help your organization during the planning stages.
